Performs maintenance, repairs, construction, and installation of systems and equipment associated with the designated specialty.

Maintains and repairs specialty building items.

Assists and acts as a resource for other maintenance staff with regard to specialty building materials, problems, and issues.

Utilizes appropriate hand and power tools and test equipment related to maintenance or specialty.

Reads, interprets, and utilizes blueprints and schematics as required for job performance.

Maintains and stocks appropriate inventories. Orders parts and supplies as needed.

Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.

Assumes the role of charge person when requested.

*Minimum Education*

X High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required

X Associate’s degree X Preferred □ Required

*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

*Required Skills*

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
