Job Overview
We are hiring a Maintenance Manager to our growing team!
The job is for a Maintenance Manager who will coordinate maintenance activities and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment, and ensure uptime and efficiency to meet business objectives. The responsibilities include managing maintenance personnel, hiring and training new staff, preparing documentation, collaborating with other departments, developing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, possess a valid driver's license, be able to read schematics, and have knowledge of TPM and OEE.
A Day In The Life
+ Plan, organize, and manage the equipment and building maintenance activities necessary to meet safety requirements, production schedules, and cost objectives.
+ Execute the hiring, development, and performance management of all maintenance personnel. Increases the technical skill level of maintenance personnel through training.
+ Execute plans for additional equipment, improved processes, and facilities when required. May supervise workers engage in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
+ Contracts outside service for specialized repairs or maintenance.
+ Prepares documentation including forms and reports as necessary.
+ Submits requires for new or replacement parts, equipment, tools, vehicles, and related items.
+ Collaborates with other functional departments to help achieve plant goals and objectives.
+ Identify critical operations and develop preventative maintenance programs to increase equipment uptime and efficiency.
+ Ensure that equipment safeguards and protective devices are operational and in use at all times.
+ Current knowledge of occupational health and safety (OSHA) standards, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable rules, regulations, and practices.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What will help you thrive in this role?
+ 5 years of experience in general electrical and mechanical maintenance.
+ 5 yrs of experience leading a multi-disciplined team of technical personnel and s killed in developing leadership in others.
+ Experience in organized problem solving.
+ Must have valid state driver's license.
+ Must be able to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic prints and schematics.
+ Knowledge of the lean manufacturing tools of TPM and OEE.
