Responsibilities:

+ Assist with the development and maintenance of GIS data resources to be utilized for public access to geographic data

+ Produce simple to complex, accurate maps, drawings, and schematics in accordance with company standards from various maps, sketches, data sources, and from verbal or written communication in CAD

+ Utilize Civil 3D to draft site plans, groundwater contour maps, geologic cross sections and other detailed maps relating to environmental projects

+ Gather, create, maintain, display, and update GIS databases with minor guidance

+ Assist with data gathering, compilation, GPS, mapping, and analysis

+ Produce accurate maps and other data representations for public use and fieldwork activity

+ Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, profiles, and details

+ Record and document details of map updates, additions, and deletions

+ Advanced assistance with research and source material collection for mapping projects

+ Track and manage GIS projects from start to finish

+ Quality control throughout the various production stages

+ Oversee GIS data collection efforts, including uploading and downloading of GPS (Global Positioning System) collected data

+ Work with Project and Task Managers to create various GIS and CAD exports

+ Demonstrate strong file management and technical skills

Qualificiations:

+ High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

+ 10+ years of GIS and CAD work experience

+ Advanced knowledge of various GIS programs, specifically the ArcGIS Software Suite (Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise), spatial and cartographic understanding, and expert knowledge of GIS software skills

+ Proficient in AutoCAD
