    Certifications/Qualifications

    + Valid New York State certification in Visual Arts (K-12).

    + Experience teaching at the elementary level.

    + Strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to engage students.

    + Ability to integrate technology into art instruction

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promote artistic skills, creativity, and art appreciation.

    + Foster an engaging and supportive environment that encourages student exploration, experimentation, and artistic growth.

    + Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and differentiated instruction as needed.

    + Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance art learning.

    + Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success

    + Maintain a safe and organized art studio.
