Java Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)

This hybrid position is** **open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Design **enterprise solutions** using **Java, JEE, Spring Boot** , and related Java technologies.

+ Apply **design patterns** to improve software architecture and maintainability.

+ Develop **highly scalable enterprise-level web applications** and **RESTful APIs** using **Microservices architecture** .

+ Implement solutions using **Java Spring Boot** for robust application development.

+ Demonstrate strong **design and programming skills** with **JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and PL/SQL** .

+ Implement **industry-standard API security protocols** , including **OAuth** .

+ Ensure **effective client communication** for collaboration and requirement clarification.

+ **AWS expertise is required** for cloud-based implementations.

Required skills

+ **Bachelor’s degree** in a relevant field.

+ Minimum **4 years of experience in software engineering** .

+ **Preferred:** 2 years of experience building **Android applications** .

+ **Preferred:** 2 years of experience working with **Kotlin** .

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $78,500- $92,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
