    We’re seeking a dynamic and hands-on Supervisor, Manufacturing to oversee operations at our Ventura, California site, supporting Stryker’s innovative Cranial Maxillofacial (CMF) business. In this onsite role, you’ll lead a team of 10+ hourly production staff, driving safety, quality, and efficiency across all manufacturing activities. You'll play a key role in delivering life-changing medical devices by managing day-to-day operations, tracking key performance metrics, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams in Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and Manufacturing Design.     + **Champion a culture of quality and compliance** , ensuring all products are manufactured to validated standards and documentation aligns with GMP and Stryker’s Quality Policies.

    + **Drive operational excellence** by proactively managing production capacity—optimizing manpower, equipment, and cross-functional coordination to meet evolving business needs.

    + **Lead strategic resource planning** , including labor forecasting and capital expenditure recommendations that align with long-term growth and efficiency goals.

    + **Ensure end-to-end inventory accuracy and traceability** , maintaining full control over components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods to support operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

    + **Develop and empower high-performing teams** through strategic hiring, coaching, and performance management to strengthen capabilities and leadership pipelines.

    + **Implement continuous improvement initiatives** using Lean methodologies (Kaizen, Lean Lighthouse, etc.) to reduce waste, improve throughput, and elevate overall performance.

    + **Oversee maintenance and calibration standards** , ensuring all equipment, tools, and gauges are operating reliably and compliantly within the production area.

    + **Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and Manufacturing Design Teams.** to resolve issues quickly, scale innovations, and support ongoing operational success.

     

    What you need

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline

    + 4 years of experience in operations or manufacturing preferably in medical device or other highly regulated industry

    + Experience in a supervisory role

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Lean/Six Sigma experience

    + ERP or SAP experience

     

    87,600 - 186,700 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
