    Material Handler

     

    We are looking for a dedicated **Material Handler** to join our warehouse team! In this role, you'll primarily manage the handling of cabinets, playing a crucial part in our shipping and receiving operations.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    This role focuses heavily on the cabinet side of our warehouse, requiring consistent physical effort. Your day-to-day will involve:

     

    + **Consistently carrying and moving heavy cabinet units** from trailers to designated locations using a hand dolly.

    + Offloading, receiving, moving, and picking cabinets for routes.

    + Assisting with general **shipping and receiving activities** , including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and distributing orders.

    + Reading and interpreting customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped.

    + Filling requisitions and distributing materials, tools, and stock items to the shipping team.

    + Maintaining a **safe and accessible warehouse** for all employees and customers.

    + Adhering to all **safety policies and procedures** to complete your work safely.

    + Helping in other areas of the warehouse as needed, including handling garbage, cardboard, and lifting mattresses.

    Shift & Compensation

    + **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (hours may vary due to volume).

    + **Pay Rate:** $16.00 per hour.

     

    What You'll Need to Excel

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Availability to work **Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM** , with flexibility for varying freight volumes.

    + Dock or warehouse experience, especially in the transportation industry.

    + Forklift experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment.

    + Experience loading and unloading trailers.

    + Basic written and verbal communication skills.

    **Pay Details:** $16.00 per hour
