We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Tax Director or Tax Partner to lead our tax practice, drive growth, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Tax Director / Partner will oversee the firm's tax department, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the firm’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the tax department

+ Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients across various industries

+ Manage client relationships by delivering exceptional service and expert tax advice

+ Collaborate with firm leaders to grow the tax practice

+ Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements

+ Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and professional development

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and service enhancements

+ Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends

Qualifications:

+ CPA or JD required; advanced degree (e.g., MST, LLM) preferred

+ 10+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment

+ Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and mentoring teams

+ Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

+ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines

+ Established client network and business development experience preferred
