This long-term contract position heavily involves day-to-day logistics and return group activities. While there is potential for permanence, this is not anticipated in the near future. As a key member of the logistics team, you will assist in the strategic management of parts programs, providing a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Utilizing current systems and software, you will ensure that dealers, suppliers, and customers have their needs met, primarily communicating via email to ensure timely shipments and resolve any issues such as damaged products or billing errors.
Responsibilities
+ Resolve invoicing issues from customers.
+ Provide special request forms from suppliers.
+ Handle international shipments and required paperwork.
+ Scan bills of lading and packaging lists.
+ Answer and respond to questions from dealers.
+ Process Zendesk tickets and issues (10-15/day).
+ Investigate payment failures and work with customers to resolve them.
+ Communicate shipping updates to customers.
+ Process sea, air, and freight credits.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of logistics experience (e.g., logistics coordinator, logistics analyst, logistics support).
+ Proficiency in Excel for basic functions, formulas, and regular data entry.
+ Good communication skills with the ability to provide timely, professional responses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SAP.
+ International shipping experience.
Work Environment
You will work in a corporate office environment that is neat, polished, and professional, within a cubicle setting. The role does not involve manufacturing, but there is potential for one day of remote work from home after the initial 3-6 months of training. The shift is flexible, Monday to Friday, either 7-4 or 8-5.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
