Field Service Technician II

As a Field Service Technician II here at Honeywell, you will provide direct installs for residential customers with energy-efficiency products and educate customers on ways to help save energy. You will work in teams of 2 in company provided vehicles and uniforms in neighborhoods and multifamily complexes. We partner with the local electric utility to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighborhoods. The program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer’s home to help reduce electrical consumption. Technicians will also qualify customers to receive additional free services based on the home’s efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installing energy efficient products in residential homes such as LED bulbs, low flow water aerators and showerheads, hot water tank insulation jackets, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and other measures
• Educating customers about ways they can save money by reducing their electrical consumption
• Accurately reporting installation measures
• Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor
• Documenting safety issues to management
• Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from the customer’s home and office/hotel
• Participation in neighborhood kickoff events
• Up to 100% travel time throughout South Carolina (Vehicle provided while traveling)

Key Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and repair equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime for customers
+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
+ Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex technical issues
+ Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
+ Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or a related technical role.
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in relevant technologies.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment used in the field service industry.
