Overview
We are hiring for a hands on IT Support Specialist to support all of our on Campus Technology for new client at the West Virginia University. The POS (Point of Sale) technology, including setting up, and troubleshooting all systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who can work indepently and is self driven as this is a one person department. They will be the point of contact for all IS support for our on campus team members. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and ideally the person must be customer service oriented. You will also serve as the liason to our WVU Technical Counterparts.
Duties
+ Support and troubleshoot all Point of Sale technology
+ Providing support for onsite technology (Laptops, printers, digital displays and monitors)
+ Ensure PCI compliance with information security policies and best practices across all systems.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
+ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades or changes.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience in information systems management or a related field.
+ Experience Point of Sale systems is a plus
+ Helpdesk and IS Support Experience
+ Experience Micros POS and Grub Hub online order a plus
+ Ghost Kitchen or other Digital Signage Systems a plus
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Must be able to lift up to 25-30lbs
+ Local travel to satelite campuses required (you will be walking campus quite a bit)
+ A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $65,000-$85,000.00 per year
