    Supply Chain Specialist

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a high volume of suppliers and purchase orders in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment. Your ability to think critically, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive supplier performance will be key to your success.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    + Manage 40–50 suppliers and approximately 120 purchase orders per month

    + Execute purchasing activities in a regulated contract manufacturing setting

    + Ensure cost savings, supplier performance, and proactive planning

    + Collaborate daily with engineering, quality, shipping/receiving, estimating, manufacturing, finance, and scheduling teams

    + Maintain meticulous attention to detail and follow up on all POs

    + Build and manage strong supplier relationships

    + Adapt quickly to changes with limited flexibility in supplier or material options

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead formal supplier reviews and corrective action plans

    + Develop and implement supplier risk mitigation and sourcing strategies

    + Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through negotiation and process improvements

    + Implement inventory reduction strategies (e.g., VMI, consignment)

    + Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)

    + Own and maintain supplier scorecards, ensuring data accuracy in pricing, lead times, and compliance

    + Act as a subject matter expert in cross-functional projects

    + Provide market insights and support to engineering, sales, and operations

    Qualifications:

    Must-Haves:

    + 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials planning

    + Experience in regulated manufacturing environments

    + Strong multitasking, negotiation, and strategic sourcing skills

    + ERP/MRP experience (Epicor preferred)

    + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

    + Ability to pass drug and background checks

    Nice-to-Haves:

    + Experience with Epicor ERP

    + APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)

    + Background in regulated contract manufacturing setting

    + Experience conducting supplier performance reviews and driving cost reduction initiatives

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
