    Description

    General Summary

    Astronics Test Systems manufactures and sells Automatic Test Equipment and Services for the test, fault finding and repair of electronic circuits. Services include solving obsolescence issues in electronic circuits thereby extending life of equipment. The products and services are aimed mainly at the Defense, Mass Transit and industrial sectors for the support and maintenance of their electronic systems that contain high value circuit boards. In this role, you will be the a point of contact for the Customer Support Team, coordinating with internal teams and customer to close out customer support requests.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Keep all RMA/Sales records updated; scanned documents, emails, etc.

    + Input and maintain asset data in appropriate databases/programs

    + Enter and update customer data in appropriate databases/programs

    + Case management – following incidents from inception to closure

    + Update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines

    + Maintain Customer Complaints and Comments process

    + Taking customer calls and routing as required

    + Move/route customer units through building

    + Prepare paperwork for customer units prior shipping

    + Update customers of schedule

    + Obtain quotes from external companies

    + Track the progress of customer calls and support assistance through to completion including all RMA's, Cases and Tasks assigned

    + Assist with on-site training courses

    + Order lunches for training classes

    + Printing of Training manuals

    Qualifications:

    + Basic Windows OS & computer, MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint proficiency required

    + Attention to detail with good proofreading ability

    + Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

    + Must be a US person.

    Education/Experience:

    High school or equivalent
