## Position Summary
The Director of Learning and Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning strategies that align with the organization’s goals and values\. This role will lead the development of innovative training programs, leadership development initiatives, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance employee performance, engagement, and growth\. The Director collaborates across departments to assess needs, deliver impactful learning experiences, and foster a culture of development and excellence\.
## Key Responsibilities
• Designs and implements organization\-wide learning and development strategies that support business objectives and employee growth\.
• Leads the assessment of training needs and develops scalable learning solutions that address skill gaps and promote continuous improvement\.
• Oversees the management and optimization of the Learning Management System \(LMS\), ensuring effective delivery, tracking, and reporting of training programs\.
• Collaborates with department leaders to align learning initiatives with team goals and organizational priorities\.
• Develops and facilitates leadership development programs to build a strong internal talent pipeline\.
• Manages the learning and development budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing return on investment\.
• Establishes partnerships with external training providers to bring innovative learning tools, content, and methodologies to our employees\.
• Introduces and manages experiential learning initiatives such as mentorship programs, cross\-functional projects, and industry\-specific simulations\.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs using data and feedback and continuously refines strategies to meet evolving needs\.
• Participates in training and professional development to stay current with trends in learning, leadership, and organizational development\.
## Education, Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings over eight years of progressive experience in learning and development, including three years in a leadership role, with demonstrated success managing enterprise\-wide training programs, LMS platforms, and leadership development initiatives\. They possess strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital learning technologies, along with excellent communication, facilitation, project management, and interpersonal skills\. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, education, or a related field is required, while a master’s degree and HR certification \(SHRM\-SCP or SPHR\) are preferred\. Additional qualifications include a strong customer focus, the ability to lead cross\-functional teams, legal eligibility to work in the U\.S\., a valid driver’s license, and the flexibility to travel as needed\.
