Actalent is urgently hiring for Medicals Assistants in Astoria!

We are currently hiring for multiple Medical Assistants in Astoria Queens for a busy Fertility practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months worth of hands on experience.

Qualifications Include:

+ 2+ years of Medical Assistant Experience

+ Phlebotomy Experience (Straight Needle & Butterfly needle)

+ Fertility Experience - Preferred

Hours:

+ Monday - Friday, start time between 6am-8am - need to flexible all, 8 hour shift

Pay Rate:

+ Depending on Experience, $22-$28 an hour

Description:

+ Take and record patients’ vital signs

+ Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during exams

+ Collect and prepare laboratory specimens

+ Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by a physician

+ Sterilize medical instruments and maintain examination rooms

+ Greet patients and manage front-desk operations

+ Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars

+ Maintain and update patient medical records

+ Handle billing, coding, and insurance documentation

+ Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries

+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
