Description
Accurately select and prepare medications in line with established pharmacy protocols.
Maintain up-to-date inventory logs and patient records while safeguarding patient privacy.
Work closely with pharmacists to resolve medication-related questions and support patient needs.
Package medications according to internal procedures and safety standards.
Coordinate with physician offices for refill approvals and manage delivery logistics.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline pharmacy workflows and improve patient satisfaction.
Oversee assigned pharmacy stations and ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
Follow all applicable pharmacy technician regulations and internal compliance policies.
Meet performance goals set by management to support operational success.
Stay current with pharmacy technologies and industry best practices through ongoing learning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of one year of experience working as a pharmacy technician, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment.
Holds a valid and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in their state of residence.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of pharmacy regulations and technician responsibilities.
Committed to delivering patient-focused care while upholding confidentiality standards.
Comfortable using technology and open to learning new systems and tools.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods, working at a computer, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to patient interaction.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
