    Brake and Tire Check is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in automotive glass installation, repair, and replacement, along with a commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

     

    In this role, you will diagnose and resolve auto glass issues, deliver accurate estimates, and perform repairs and replacements with efficiency and precision.

    Responsibilities:

    + Diagnose and assess automotive glass damage.

    + Remove and replace windshields, door glass, back glass, and quarter glass.

    + Ensure proper function of windows and windshields, including defrost and wipers.

    + Perform repairs on chipped or cracked windshields.

    + Ensure proper installation of moldings and seals.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Provide excellent customer service.

    + Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

    Qualifications:

    + 10+ years of experience in the auto glass industry.

    + Certification from the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGRSS) is highly preferred (e.g., Certified Auto Glass Technician, Master Auto Glass Technician). Certifications from the Independent Glass Association (IGA) are also considered.

    + Proficient in using auto glass repair and replacement tools and equipment.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    + Ability to safely lift and move 40+ lbs.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration.

    + Knowledge of different types of auto glass and their applications.
