    For our DE Southern Sales Team, we are seeking an Account Manager(m/f/d) Distribution & Artisans for sales in Baden-Württemberg and Saarland.

     

    Limited to approximately 1 year as a sick leave cover, with high possibility of extending the contract for longer!

     

    This is a home-based position with approximately 70% travel.

    About the role:

    You will be fully responsible for your own results, help develop growth strategies, drive commercial projects, and build strong customer relationships.

     

    This position requires you to genuinely enjoy networking extensively internally and externally and managing stakeholders on both sides of the table for the successful progress of your projects. Furthermore, you should have a keen eye for identifying value-added solutions for our customers. In addition, advanced analytical skills are important for interpreting your business's KPIs and thereby guiding your actions in the short and long term.

    Main activities and responsibilities of the role:

    • Actively seek new business opportunities, revenue prospects, and develop sales strategies

    • Build and maintain resilient and long-term relationships with existing and new customers

    • Successfully sell our products and solutions to strengthen long-term business relationships

    • Negotiate contracts and terms with customers

    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal departments and customers

    • Responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets

    • Monitor market and competitive trends and develop corresponding measures

    • Analyze the market and competitive landscape

    • Ensure high data quality in Salesforce

    Qualifications and hard skills you bring to this position:

    • Strong commercial acumen and at least 2 years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the food and beverage industry

    • Completed studies in Business administration, marketing, a related field, or a completed vocational training in the food industry

    • Fluent in German and confident in English business communication

    • Good MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com skills are a great advantage

    • Strong project and stakeholder management skills

    • Possession of a valid driver's license
