Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Shift: Wednesday- Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm
Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Engineer who possesses outstanding technical and analytical skills, coupled with a proven track record of achieving results promptly and efficiently. You will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analysis specifically for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production-level designs.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and analyze 3D and 2D mechanical designs for flight-critical avionics systems.
+ Create and maintain detailed work instructions and technical documentation.
+ Integrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
+ Support both development and production programs.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
+ Conduct functional and environmental testing, such as thermal, acoustic, or vibe.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
+ 1+ year experience with integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
+ 1+ year experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as SolidWorks or NX/Unigraphics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
+ Experience in technical writing, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
+ Familiarity with automated manufacturing processes and assembly and test methods.
+ Knowledge of continuous material flow systems to manufacturing lines.
+ Formal training or certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
+ Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr.
