    Senior Environmental Project Manager

     

    (Engineer/ Geologist / Hydrogeologist)

     

    Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience, education, and location)

    across the United States is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join their growing Environmental practice in Irvine, California. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex investigation and remediation projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued success of our dynamic team.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage environmental investigation and remediation projects from inception through completion.

    + Prepare and review technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

    + Assemble and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, providing technical oversight and mentorship.

    + Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts.

    + Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and subconsultants.

    + Ensure projects meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling goals.

    + Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.

    + Represent company in professional associations through presentations and committee involvement.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology (Master’s degree preferred).

    + Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in California, or ability to obtain licensure shortly after hire.

    + Proven experience in environmental site investigation and remediation.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational, time management, and leadership abilities.

    + Demonstrated experience in quality control, cost estimating, and project scheduling.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Effective mentoring and team management skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
