Job Description:
As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product quality. You will be responsible for ensuring line clearance, performing equipment swabbing after sanitation, and conducting quality audits throughout the production shift.
Responsibilities:
+ Verify line clearance prior to startup.
+ Perform equipment swabbing after sanitation.
+ Conduct quality audits for each production line throughout the shift.
+ Document in-line process check results per pre-approved specifications.
+ Report any Out of Specification (OOS) or non-conformance to production.
+ Ensure immediate corrective actions are completed before startup for any non-conformance.
+ Label and store non-compliant products in designated areas, following MRB processes.
+ Perform periodic quality and GMP audits of the production area, focusing on product handling compliance.
+ Audit ingredients staged for manufacturing and ensure no expired materials are used.
+ Conduct temperature audits of ingredients, Work In Progress (WIP), and finished products during production.
+ Prepare shift reports for the next shift follow-up.
+ Perform case count audits on all products.
+ Conduct daily Pre-operational Inspections.
+ Assist in metal detector validations and regular in-process metal detector line checks.
+ Ensure operators follow metal detector Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
+ Report any food safety risks to the supervisor.
+ Collect samples from raw materials, in-process, and finished products for lab testing.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
+ 1 year of experience working in quality control.
+ Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
