    Job Description

    Production Workers play a vital role in the production operation, responsible for metal finishing, paint line work, and final assembly tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform metal finishing, paint line tasks, and final assembly.

    + Work with blueprints in production and assembly.

    + Operate machinery and perform grinding tasks.

    + Utilize tape measures and carpentry skills.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, construction, and general production work.

    + Flexibility to perform tasks outside of job description.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to work independently with a growth mindset.

    + Strong attendance record.

    + Good attitude and team player mindset.

    + Skills in grinding, tape measure use, and carpentry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Metal fabrication.

    + Welding.

    + Proficiency in assembly and machine operation.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a mid-size, 30-person fabrication shop that includes paint, press brake, welding, and assembly processes. The company is expanding and has added 6-7 customers in 2024. Employees work in production welding and welding bays across two buildings on-site. The materials handled range from mild steel 20 gauge to 1 inch. The work shift is Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with optional overtime on Fridays. Flexible working hours are available, with paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, TN.

     

    **Starting Pay:** $18-$19/hr, depending on experience

    **Shift:** 1st- 5:30am to about 3:30pm CENTRAL TIME

    **Breaks:** two 10-minute paid breaks and one 20-minute paid lunch break per shift

    **Schedule:** Monday - Thursday; OT on Fridays as needed

    **Weekly hours:** 40-45, maybe 50 on occasions

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
