    Job Title: Skilled Laborer

     

    Weekly Pay $17.hr PLUS 20+ hours of Overtime

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team at our newly opened plant in Florence, TX, where you will play a vital role in concrete production. As a skilled laborer, you will work with hand and power tools to assemble structures, assist in loading and unloading materials, and help set up equipment around the plant.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize hand and power tools to assemble structures.

    + Assist in loading and unloading materials.

    + Help set up equipment around the plant.

    + Perform tasks related to concrete production.

    + Engage in general labor tasks within a heavy industrial environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Proficiency in measuring tools.

    + General production and construction skills.

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous construction or heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.

    + Experience with tape measures, mechanical tasks, and packaging.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing plant, experiencing varying temperatures. Prepare for a heavy manual labor job with long days and hard work, involving bending, standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks. The first shift starts at 7:00 am, working roughly 10-12 hours from Monday through Friday, soon extending to Monday through Saturday. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Steel-toed shoes and met guards are required; all other PPE will be provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
