    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift for most of the day. Your role will involve moving and staging inventory, using a hand jack to move materials, and preparing materials for installers.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a forklift efficiently to move and stage inventory.

    + Use hand jacks to move materials.

    + Prepare materials for installers.

    + Ensure quality assurance during material handling.

    + Assist with general production and assembly tasks.

    + Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with general production and hand tools.

    + Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

    + Ability to perform heavy lifting and material handling.

    + Mechanically inclined with skills in construction, carpentry, and industrial repair.

    + Knowledge of installation and maintenance techniques.

    + Troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Extensive experience in physical labor.

    + Previous work experience on Amazon projects.

    + Strong attendance record.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is situated within a large Amazon facility, characterized by a dynamic and fast-paced environment with numerous moving parts. You will collaborate with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, requiring 8-10 hours of work per day.

    This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
