    Job Title: Assembly Operator

    Job Description

    As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and processing of medical device components and products. You will utilize light tools and equipment according to instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect metal parts under magnifying glass or microscope for approximately 4-5 hours per day.

    + Shape set using mandrel fixtures by placing parts on fixtures.

    + Handle chemicals by running equipment that processes chemicals.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and assembly.

    + Proficiency in using a microscope and data entry.

    + Manufacturing background.

    + Comfortable with small part assembly.

    + Fluent in speaking and reading English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable with production floor and light gowning.

    + Able to work around chemicals.

    + Capable of lifting 10-15lbs repetitively.

    + Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficient in using hand tools and working on an assembly line.

    + Ability to utilize measurement tools and devices as required by the process.

    + Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a manufacturing environment consisting of three main areas: a clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, a laser area with machines that cut and shape small nitinol components, and a materials area for manufacturing with raw materials, which is heavier and dirtier. The position requires working the graveyard shift from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM, Monday through Friday.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.15/hr.
