Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Shift: 3 on 3 off 7p-7a

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician who excels in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of equipment including control panels, Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, 480V 3-phase motors, relays, timers, VSDs, proximity switches, gearboxes, speed conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, diverters, blowers, and motors. Familiarity with bag house or filler systems and the use of a multimeter is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair control panels, Allen Bradley PLCs, and VFDs.

+ Handle 480V 3-phase motors, relays, timers, and VSDs.

+ Maintain and repair proximity switches, gearboxes, and speed conveyors.

+ Perform maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, diverters, blowers, and motors.

+ Work with bag house or filler systems.

+ Utilize multimeters for electrical troubleshooting.

+ Operate scissor and boom lifts (training provided).

+ Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Essential Skills

+ 4-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

+ PLC troubleshooting to the component level.

+ Experience with welding (MIG, stick, TIG) and fabrication.

+ Familiarity with conveyor maintenance and industrial systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Scissor and boom lift experience (training available).

+ Comfortable working at heights up to 95 feet and in confined spaces.

+ Possession of personal basic tools; all power tools provided by the company.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-temperature controlled, resembling a foundry with furnaces reaching 2800 degrees. Expect extreme heat and cold conditions, with exposure to dust and non-toxic zinc oxide particles. Water stations with water, Gatorade, and snow cones are available. The job involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and airborne particles. The noise level is typically loud.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millington, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
