Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the billing process, ensuring timely customer payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will collaborate with various teams to resolve invoice issues and ensure compliance with company policies.

+ Generate and issue invoices for Milestone Billings, Sales Orders, Boiler Rentals & Field Services, and distribute them to customers via email.

+ Accurately post customer payments to corresponding invoices promptly.

+ Proactively follow up on overdue invoices by contacting customers via phone and email to facilitate prompt resolution.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to past-due invoices and collections efforts.

+ Organize and lead meetings with management to review aged accounts and discuss collection strategies.

+ Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports to support the month-end closing process.

+ Conduct reconciliations of various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Maintain and update accounts receivable aging reports, ensuring proper application of credits and resolution of uncollectible amounts.

+ Assist in the continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes to increase efficiency.

+ Oversee and ensure accurate sales tax reporting and compliance.

+ Adhere to company and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all financial transactions.

+ Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall objectives of the Accounting Department.

+ Be available to work additional hours during month-end close and as needed.

Shift : Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

Pay : $21 - $23

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
