Job Description
Join a dedicated team at our Hudson site, where we build and assemble industrial shredders used for secure disposal of hard drives containing sensitive information. This role involves 85% mechanical and 15% electrical assembly, working closely with a team of three, including a supervisor.
Responsibilities
+ Perform point-to-point wiring of electrical components.
+ Engage in soldering, crimping, and stripping tasks.
+ Utilize tools such as multimeters and calipers for electrical testing.
+ Work off detailed work instructions with pictures.
Essential Skills
+ Prior electrical assembly experience.
+ Recent soldering experience.
+ Experience with point-to-point wiring.
+ Ability to differentiate between standard and metric measurements.
+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with higher voltages is a plus.
+ Strong electrical skills are preferred, though mechanical skills can be trained.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled production floor, fully indoors. Choose a first shift position between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a consistent schedule.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
