    Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Offutt AFB. Responsibilities 1. Loads and unloads heavy boxes, bulky supplies, and materials to and from tracks, dollies, etc, moves heavy boxes. cartons, orluggage by hand, handtruck, or dolly; opens crates and boxes using crowbars, and cuts bands using shears; stacks boxes and cartonswhere directed.2. Using a shovel. digs ditches and trenches where a pick is not needed to loosen the dirt, and where grading and sloping is notrequired; fills holes with dirt and levels bumps and low places, using shovel, hand tamper, and rake.3. Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawnmowers, when this does not require heavy physical effort (for example, onsteep grades); clears small trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet, or clipper.4. Moves and arranges furniture as directed; shovels snow from sidewalks; washes and waxes cars and trucks by hand or power buffer.5. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of a riding lawn mower and weed cater are preferred, but not required. Must be able to use, control, and clean commonhand tools, and simple power equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or writlen instructions involving duties with several distincttasks or steps. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 50 pounds and be able tooccasionally lift and cany objects up to 75 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach. work in awkward positions andsustain repetitive motion. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employmentphysical. Must possess a valid driver"s license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries( ACI). This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD). Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
