    Job Description

    This position involves supporting the warehouse operations by assisting in filling orders for customers who come to pick up products. The warehouse is upgrading its inventory software to SAP, and extra help is needed to keep orders on track for delivery. The role includes operating a stand-up forklift to pick approximately 17 different product lines per hour, depending on size and quantity. Tasks will involve picking materials, palletizing, shrink wrapping, and repeating these processes throughout the day.

    Responsibilities

    + Pull orders using RF scanners.

    + Write up tickets for customers.

    + Enter inventory data into SAP.

    + Load and unload trucks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a forklift driver, specifically with stand-up forklifts.

    + Proficiency in SAP inventory software or similar inventory software.

    + Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.

    + Ability to interact effectively with customers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of experience with SAP inventory software or similar.

    + 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving environment.

    + Experience interacting with clients or customers.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place in a warehouse setting, with forklifts and bay doors for drivers and customers. Interaction with customers is necessary, including handling any disputes. The shift runs from Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12:30am, with options for overtime. There is no requirement for certifications, DOT, medical licensing, or PPE.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
