Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse and production floor, supporting production, engineering, and customer orders. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate control and location of stock movements and assist in the daily disbursement of raw materials to the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.

+ Use handheld scanner and desktop computer to record material movements in the ERP system.

+ Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.

+ Maintain First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and accurate cycle counts.

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.

+ Understand and comply with quality policy, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.

+ Load and unload truck shipments as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of warehouse experience.

+ 1+ year of forklift experience.

+ Experience working with RF scanner/inventory.

+ GED or high school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.

+ Experience in picking, packing, and order picking.

+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a mixture of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments. Expect to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day and lift items weighing 25lb or more throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.90/hr.
