    Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Specialist

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Shipping/Receiving Specialist where you will play a pivotal role in managing the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution hub. You will be entrusted with ensuring the correct delivery of items to their intended destinations, coordinating closely with drivers and assigning dock doors, all while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, especially when dealing with FDA-regulated products.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage inbound and outbound shipments effectively.

    + Ensure accurate delivery of items to designated locations.

    + Coordinate with drivers and efficiently assign dock doors.

    + Maintain a high level of quality control, prioritizing quality over quantity.

    + Identify and rectify errors, ensuring compliance with GMP/SOP standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

    + Experience in inventory management.

    + Strong computer skills, including RF Scanner proficiency.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Understanding of GMPs/SOPs is advantageous.

    + Experience with SAP and inventory systems is beneficial.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large, 500,000 square ft. semi-climate controlled warehouse with 40 dedicated employees. Our brand-new facility is air-conditioned in summer, but not heated in winter to maintain product temperatures. As a key distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, the site processes a variety of chocolate products, including beans, liquor, powders, and cocoa butter.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
