    Job Title: Aircraft Inspector

    Highlights

    Job Description

    As an Aircraft Inspector, you will spend 80% of your time in hangars conducting inspections and collaborating with technicians. The remaining 20% of your role will involve ensuring proper documentation and tracking. You will work in both commercial and government hangars, performing quality assurance inspections on a variety of general aviation and corporate aircraft, including heavy maintenance projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct quality assurance inspections in commercial hangars, focusing on heavy maintenance of general aviation and corporate aircraft.

    + Perform quality assurance inspections in government hangars on Dornier 328 intelligence aircraft.

    + Collaborate with technicians to ensure aircraft maintenance and repair meet industry standards.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of inspection results and aircraft status.

    Essential Skills

    + A&P License

    + Previous experience with corporate or general aviation aircraft

    + Prior experience as a QA Inspector on any type of aircraft

    + Stable job history

    + Proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Attention to detail and adherence to regulations

    + Effective communication skills with technicians

    + Experience with heavy maintenance on Bombardier Business Jets, Challengers, Globals, Hawkers, Gulfstreams, King Airs

    + Ability to work on diverse projects and airframes

    + Preferred experience with turboprop and corporate aviation

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangars. The schedule is Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with casual dress code. Overtime is often available but not guaranteed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
