Company Urgently Hiring HVAC Foreman!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Foreman with extensive experience in commercial HVAC service. The ideal candidate should possess over four years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including expertise in Variable Refrigeration Volume (VRV) systems.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to businesses daily as scheduled to perform duties.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on existing HVAC systems.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial air conditioning and heating systems, including heat pumps, split systems, package units, ductless splits, boilers, chillers, WSHP, cooling towers (up to 20 tons), Daiken VRV, and electric motor controls such as contactors, starters, relays, disconnects, and thermostats.

+ Handle humidifiers, air cleaners, and other HVAC accessories.

+ Service rooftop commercial HVAC units.

+ Utilize recovery machines and vacuum regulators.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 4 years of commercial HVAC service experience.

+ Proficiency in Variable Refrigeration Volume (VRV) systems.

+ Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.

+ EPA Certified.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Daiken, Trane, Mitsubishi, and Fujitsu systems.

+ Knowledge of cooling tower maintenance and installation.

+ Background in commercial construction.

Work Environment

The work environment is predominantly in Central and North Jersey, excluding NYC businesses. HVAC technicians will rarely be in the office, instead traveling directly to sites or meeting at the office in the morning to drive to the site. The team consists of field supervisors, an estimator, a service manager, dispatch personnel, service technicians, and helpers. Working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fanwood, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
