Job Title: Parts Cleaner
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Cleaner to join our team, primarily working within the disassembly shop. This role involves physically demanding tasks in the dirtiest part of our facility and offers the opportunity for advancement through cross-training in the assembly department.
Responsibilities
+ Perform steaming, sandblasting, and painting of parts.
+ Engage in industrial cleaning, including parts cleaning and grinding.
+ Execute janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness in the facility.
+ Disassemble pumps and other equipment as required.
+ Participate in cross-training for assembly department tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in sandblasting and industrial cleaning.
+ Ability to perform physically demanding manual labor.
+ Skill in facilities maintenance and custodial maintenance.
+ Reliable with consistent transportation to work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
+ Team player mentality.
+ Ability to understand, follow, and complete tasks as instructed by the Manager or Lead.

Work Environment
You will be working in climate-controlled areas of an industrial machine shop. The position is on the 1st shift, from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00/hr.
