Job Title: Instrumentation Control and Electrical Technician
Job Description
As an Instrumentation Control and Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for testing, tuning, analyzing, adjusting, replacing, and repairing malfunctioning or defective telecommunications equipment. This includes company-owned PBX, key systems, networks, VHF, microwave, SCADA, and EFM systems. You will also be tasked with rebuilding pumps, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, conducting laser alignment, and seal replacement. Staying informed of safety requirements is crucial.
Responsibilities
+ Perform daily rounds and routine equipment checks.
+ Grease and oil machinery as needed.
+ Conduct electrical repairs and equipment replacements.
+ Repair pumps and other machinery components.
+ Utilize DCS/Delta V systems; experience is a plus.
+ Perform general forklift maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot basic network issues.
+ Troubleshoot basic PLC/HMI systems.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
+ Experience with instrumentation and preventive maintenance.
+ General computer skills.
+ Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
+ Detail-oriented with logical problem-solving skills.
+ Strong work ethic with excellent safety awareness.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Machinery experience is helpful.
+ Ability to manage confined space entry, climb ladders, and lift 60 lbs.
+ Excellent housekeeping and sanitation habits.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ Organizational skills with the ability to train others.
+ Knowledge of maintenance procedures for centrifuges, drying equipment, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, electrical circuits, and 4-20 milliamp instrumentation is beneficial.
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 2 years of training or a technical degree preferred.
+ 2 years of relevant work experience.
+ Must be a licensed driver.

Work Environment
Work in a dry mill ethanol plant established in 2018, characterized by a typical ethanol environment. The team consists of 10 members with 3 on the I&E side, promoting a family team dynamic. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Every 7-8 weeks, you will be on call and compensated accordingly. This is a Permanent position based out of Atlantic, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $936000.00/yr.

$100 phone allowance for on call, pay min. 2 hrs for on call visits even if it's 15 minutes of work
Yearly bonus for all employees - last year receive 30% of annual income due to plant growth.
