    Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

    Job Description

    As a Welder/Fabricator, you will engage in MIG welding on steel and undertake fabricating responsibilities in a dynamic job shop setting. Each day presents a variety of tasks, ensuring an engaging and stimulating work environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret engineering blueprints to guide your work.

    + Construct base templates when necessary to facilitate fabrication tasks.

    + Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines with precision.

    + Double-check design specifications before initiating cutting work to ensure accuracy.

    + Fabricate and construct metal components with skill and attention to detail.

    + Grind and finish completed products to meet quality standards.

    + Perform quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Complete job reports to document your work and maintain records.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MIG welding with 3+ years of experience.

    + Expertise in steel fabrication with at least 3 years of experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints with 3+ years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong ability in fitting and fabrication.

    + Experience with blueprint and design interpretation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on some Saturdays where hours extend from 6am to 4:30pm. This role offers a structured schedule in a job shop setting.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $58240.00/yr.
