Job Title: Production Assistant
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Assistant where you will play a crucial role in the setup, changeover, and production processes. You will be an integral part of our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth flow of production lines and the quality of finished goods.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with setups, changeovers, and production runs.
+ Count finished goods accurately.
+ Perform heavy lifting of products as needed.
+ Stage orders efficiently for the next phase.
+ Demonstrate flexibility by assisting on different lines and filling in as required.
+ Follow direct orders from leads and lead operators.
+ Engage in all parts of the production line, performing various labor tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.
+ Familiarity with general production processes.
+ Proficiency in inspection tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Capability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
+ Willingness and ability to learn computer systems.

Work Environment
Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring employees to handle heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
