    Job Title: Dispatcher

    Job Description

    The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching GPE dump trucks and third-party dump trucks to various GPE projects. This role involves clear and effective communication with drivers, project foremen, supervisors, and team members. The Dispatcher will also maintain accurate daily records of all trucking requirements for every project and adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines and regulations. Additionally, they will handle basic office tasks, including entering timesheets for all shop employees and maintaining organized records, as well as verifying accounts payable invoices.

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule and dispatch GPE and third-party dump trucks to projects.

    + Communicate effectively with drivers, foremen, supervisors, and team members.

    + Maintain accurate daily records of trucking requirements.

    + Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety guidelines.

    + Handle basic office tasks including timesheet entry and organized record maintenance.

    + Verify accounts payable invoices.

    + Identify and complete necessary shop tasks.

    + Be available for schedule changes outside typical hours, including Sunday evenings if necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in dispatching within the construction industry.

    + Proficiency in data entry and logistics.

    + Strong administrative support skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.

    + Proficiency in Excel.

    + Ability to handle office errands.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is primarily office-based, with occasional errands. Typical work hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The office is located a few miles from the main office in Toledo, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
