    Hiring for Metal Polisher and Buffer

    Job Description

    Begin your journey in grinding, where you'll use a hand grinder to smooth rough edges and polish metal to achieve a refined finish. You will cross-train in basic fabrication, cutting metal to length using a tape measure, and engage in brake press operations, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. Additionally, you will assist in other departments as needed, including assembly, packaging, and paint.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate hand grinders to smooth and polish metal surfaces.

    + Cross-train in basic fabrication tasks, including cutting metal and utilizing brake press.

    + Perform spot welding and buffing operations.

    + Assist with racking for paint applications.

    + Support other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude through previous work experience, education, or hobbies.

    + Experience with sheet metal and grinding techniques.

    + Proficiency in reading tape measures and understanding basic math.

    + Competency in using hand and power tools.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
