Job Description

We are seeking skilled Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) responsible for producing high-quality work to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Produce quality work to prescribed standards with a focus on continuous improvement.

+ Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including WHMIS.

+ Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

+ Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, and action teams.

+ Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

+ Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.

+ Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, and nuts, with a basic understanding of build documentation.

+ Perform pull-tests, verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units in depth with basic troubleshooting skills.

+ Access production tools such as routers, parts lists, and work instructions, and be able to wire prep, auto bond, and sleeve.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly, circuit board assembly, and soldering.

+ Experience with mechanical and electronic assembly.

+ Ability to read blueprints and wire tabulations.

+ Basic understanding of circuit board repair, panel board, and quality control.

+ Experience in mechanical assembly, cable assembly, crimping, and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Experience in assembling electronic components for aircraft and submarines is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and controlled environment with a casual dress code, including ESD wrist straps and smocks. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 6am - 3:30pm, and every other Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. Overtime is expected and required once hired.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
