1st and 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic's Needed in La Vergne, TN up to $30/hr!

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing all maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency. This includes conducting preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing technical solutions to maintain constant operation of converting equipment and production lines.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all industrial equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

+ Ensure continuous operation of converting equipment and production lines.

+ Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives.

+ Execute all necessary repairs and implement technical solutions.

+ Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

+ At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and 3-phase motors.

+ Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves.

+ Proficient in troubleshooting, mechanical repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ 3+ years of experience in a GMP environment preferred.

+ Computer proficiency in MS Office.

+ Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience in an FDA facility is ideal.

+ Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.

Work Environment

The facility operates nearly a million square feet of production and distribution centers. It runs around the clock, five days a week, and distributes products nationwide, seven days a week. The plant is a liquid filling facility, and candidates with experience in liquid filling or packaging, especially from the food and beverage industry, are preferred. Be prepared for strong odors depending on your department, such as mouthwash, lotion, or alcohol.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
