Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drywall, and painting tasks in medical office buildings. This role ensures the orderliness of properties and oversees maintenance systems to guarantee optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction, aligning with departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
+ Complete work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings using work order software programs.
+ Implement routine physical improvements and assist in establishing and maintaining equipment, tools, supplies, inventories, and logs.
+ Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain related records and logs.
+ Assist with controlling expenses associated with building operations.
+ Communicate effectively about building status and changes to appropriate individuals.
+ Act in a professional and courteous manner with tenants, clients, co-workers, vendors, and patients.
+ Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property safely and productively.
Essential Skills
+ Facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting, HVAC, mechanical, repair, painting, drywall, and lighting.
+ 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in medical office buildings, senior living, commercial, or industrial settings.
+ Proficiency in schematic reading, building maintenance, hand tools, blueprints, carpentry, and electrical maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with multifamily apartment buildings is open.
+ Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with on-call duties every 6 weeks, including weekends and nights.

Work Environment
This position is customer/tenant-facing in a medical office building. It is crucial to maintain a customer-first mindset and exercise patience. Safety is a priority for tenants. The home base will be on the 8402 campus, with possible travel to nearby locations. Dress code will be professional and appropriate for a medical office setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
