    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our warehouse receiving team. This role involves handling incoming products, ingredients, and packaging materials, checking them into inventory, and transferring items between the warehouse and production.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive freight trucks full of raw ingredients and materials.

    + Inspect and verify freight against Bill of Materials (BOM) and Purchase Orders (POs).

    + Provide information to the receiving clerk to update inventory.

    + Stock materials in the warehouse or deliver them directly to the production department.

    + Operate stand-up forklifts, with training provided on the first day.

    + Perform basic warehouse duties including cleaning and recycling waste materials.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in materials handling and forklift operation.

    + Proficiency with inventory management and handheld scanners.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with stand-up forklifts is preferred, but training is available for those with sit-down forklift experience.

    + Experience in staging, loading, production, GMP, quality control, inventory stock, and order picking.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in a dynamic warehouse environment with concrete floors and various handling equipment moving throughout the space. The position offers two shifts: B Shift (3-11:30pm) and C Shift (11-7:30am), with the possibility of one weekend day off and two consecutive weekdays off. Dress comfortably for a vibrant and collaborative workplace.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.95 - $20.95/hr.
