Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Painter with experience in sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read tape measures in both metric and standard units. Previous experience in industrial painting is preferred.
Responsibilities
+ Perform industrial painting tasks including sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying.
+ Read and interpret tape measures in both metric and standard units.
+ Meet production standards and deadlines.
+ Operate electric hand grinding and overhead cranes as needed.
+ Conduct sand and shot blasting when required.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3-6 months of industrial painting experience or a recently completed paint certification course.
+ Solid 6 months of recent work history.
+ Proficiency in HVLP, paint prep, spray, electrostatic, blasting, and painting techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in electric hand grinding and overhead crane operation is a plus.
+ Ability to meet production standards efficiently.

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial, characterized by loud, dusty, and dirty conditions with rust and metal particles. Employees will be exposed to paint chemicals and are required to wear appropriate protective gear. Work involves standing on concrete floors and platforms throughout the shift and may require climbing step stools. The role demands awareness of surroundings due to the presence of machinists, welders, assemblers, and forklift operators. Candidates should be flexible to work both 1st and 2nd shifts, with overtime available. Shifts are from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.25/hr.
