    Aerotek is hiring MACHINE OPERATORS

    Responsibilities

    + **Operate production machinery according to established procedures.**

    + **Calibrate computer systems to ensure accurate machine settings and operations.**

    + **Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal condition.**

    + **Monitor product quality and compliance with specifications, conducting necessary quality tests.**

    + **Report any defects, anomalies, or malfunctions to the operator or supervisor.**

    + **Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.**

    + **Support the operator in daily tasks, including adjustments, machine startups, and regular operations.**

    + **Ensure proper labeling, identification, and disposal of rejected products.**

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $57630.00 - $68157.00/yr.

     

    Cascades is located in Doswell on what is called Bear Island (not an actual island). It is a very large papermill that Cascades has put over 450 million invested in it. The facility is very nice and stays clean. They have a ton of room to grow and great benefits that we tend to see Canadian owned companies have. In a steady growing industry (turning recycled product into cardboard boxes). Many cascades employees/supervisors moved from one of their northern plants to work for Bear Island. Will have a steady supervising unit.
