A Brief Overview
The Mortgage Technical Support Analyst is responsible for reporting performed by business, including but not limited to Regulators, auditors, internal support units and business managers. Senior Analyst will ensure that data reported is accurate and that it meets the requestor’s request. Incumbent will be responsible for managing projects that may require data delivery or data conversion within the system, such as portfolio acquisitions and/or sales. Will also be responsible for analyzing business needs and benefits in support of business cases to be presented.
This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. The resource will be responsible for identifying new technical development tools to integrate innovation and improve unit processes.
What you’ll do
• Understand and effectively manage business reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data delivery.
• Evaluate and ensure automation of business reports.
• Evaluate, gather data, and evaluate the best system solution to cover business needs.
• Create system design proposals. Assist in performing cost-benefit and return on investment analysis for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
• Ensure interfaces between core systems are adequate and are thoroughly validated. May require data cross reference validation.
• Review system enhancements and releases, work with business units to implement test and document changes.
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements, systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Implement API integrations and manage system architectur e to ensure business strategies supported with system integrations are successfully executed.
• Participates in the due diligence to evaluate loan portfolios to be acquired. Plan and execute business analysis and data transfers for transactions such as portfolio acquisitions or sales.
• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
• Configure and produce mass transactions which may affect GL to support business operations.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

• Maintaining accurate records of all the work performed.
• Works on special projects/assignments as requested by management.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Formal Education
• Bachelor’s degree in c Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field is required.
• SQL certification is required.
• Power BI or Java certification are preferred.
Knowledge and Experience
• At least 5 years work experience Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
+ At least 2 years Working technical knowledge of [MSSQL, .NET, C#, YAML, XML, HTML, RESTful API, Javascript, Python] programming languages.
• At least 2 years of extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts. [Integration Services, Reporting Services, PowerBI and with core software applications, including [Microsoft Office, Reporting Services and Postman].
• At least 1 year experience with Mortgage Systems such as MSP and Encompass.
