    Position Responsibilities:

    + Drive organizational procurement strategy.

    + Strategic direction of on demand planning and forecasting process.

    + Create and improve best-practice based procurement processes.

    + Identify and implement cost saving and cost reduction opportunities.

    + Manage procurement staff in areas of sourcing, freight contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.

    + Provide consultative bottoms-up budget planning and savings projections to senior and executive management across business units.

    + Lead highly visible projects which require project oversight, budget management and ongoing communication.

    + Development of scorecards and benchmarks to monitor and improve procurement and supplier performance.

    + Integrate systems and policies effectively utilizing ERP to support company initiatives.

    + Oversee internal and external logistics to mitigate out of stock risk.

    + Direct purchase orders, bids and proposals to align with company goals.

    + Manage the skills and competency development of procurement staff, including training and development

    Requirements

    + B.A. in supply chain, business or related field.

    + 10-12 years of procurement and leadership experience.

    + Experience in leading procurement teams.

    + Working knowledge of finance/ or accounting in terms of budgeting, cost management, financial accounting and risk management.

    + Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proven analytics, decision making and problem-solving skills.

    + High level of expertise with e-procurement systems and tools.

    + Advanced Excel and Microsoft application skills.

     

    Director of Procurement

     

    Salary: $120,000.00-$140,000.00

     

    It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
