    Job Description

    Project Management responsibility and support to CG47, LCS, and L-Ship Planning Yard Services (PYS) contracts. Processes and manages all Travel Authorization Requests (TAR) to the Navy and maintains associated metrics. Tracks and manages contract deliverables (CDRLs) and development of associated reporting metrics. Tracks, manages and approves subcontractor invoices and directs processing of cost through the accounting system. Conducts research into incurred costs and prepares Requests for Additional Funding (RAF) for submittal to the government. Directly interfaces with Fleet Sustainment Engineering, Material Kitting, Planning, Estimating & Pricing, SCM, Contracts, etc. in leading efforts to support emergent Navy (PMS 321) and SUPSHIP Gulf Coast (SSGC) customer requests. In addition, supports Planning Yard Director and Management in program execution of quality, cost and schedule requirements.

    Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical discipline + 1 years' experience OR a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Project Management, Industrial Engineering or Finance experience in shipbuilding industry. Strong finance acumen with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access required. Proficient in other Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e. PowerPoint, Word). Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and effectively manage work. Experience working with SAP and IFS. Ability to logically express ideas in oral and written formats. Able to work within team environment as well as independently and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
