    ETAS, Inc. seeks Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15800 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. Support projects/ customers regarding AUTOSAR related topics: AUTOSAR workflow, AUTOSAR – BSW generation. Port basic software for micro controllers. Responsible for designing, implementing and testing AUTOSAR -BSW modules. Responsible for acceptance testing of third party supplied software modules. Responsible for customer on-site training and consulting. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, or occupation involving embedded software development. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) C and low level micro controller programming; (2) Real time software development; (3) Vehicle communication protocols like CAN, CAN-FD and LIN; (4) Automotive Software Design and Development using AUTOSAR standard tools; and (5) In vehicle diagnostics protocols such as OBD and UDS for debugging, fault monitoring and detecting mechanisms for control units within the Automotive domain. Telecommuting: Hybrid, 2 days WFH permitted per week. Travel Requirements: 10-15%. International and Domestic Travel Required.
